About :
SARA is a women-focused digital platform designed to empower women through access to community, financial services, and growth opportunities. It combines social networking with tailored offerings like loans, health insurance, and events, structured across three membership tiers—Explorer, Influencer, and Visionary.
The Problem:
We observed that while there are platforms offering financial services for women, many of them lack the support systems that drive real growth—community, shared experiences, and access to opportunities in a more human-centered way.
Goal:
My goal was to design a community-first platform where women can connect, engage, and grow, while seamlessly accessing financial services as part of that ecosystem, not as a standalone feature

I approached the product from a community-first perspective, ensuring that social interaction and engagement formed the foundation of the experience.
I mapped user journeys around how users connect, join groups, and participate in events, then layered financial services naturally into those flows.
I also:
Structured the platform around three user tiers (Explorer, Influencer, Visionary)
Built a scalable design system for consistency across all interfaces
Simplified key flows like onboarding, group participation, and service access
The Solution
I designed a social-first platform tailored for women, integrating:
Community features such as groups, events, and user interactions
Embedded financial services like loans and health insurance within the experience
A responsive interface across web and mobile
An admin system for managing users, content, and engagement across the platform
