Project Title:

About :
Ngage is a civic engagement platform built for UK citizens to stay informed about their communities, access public information, and interact with government-related initiatives. It promotes transparency, participation, and awareness at the community level.
The Problem:
We found that many citizens struggle to understand what’s happening within their local communities. Civic information is often scattered, complex, and difficult to engage with, which leads to low participation and limited trust in public systems.
Goal:
My goal was to design a platform that simplifies access to civic information, making it easier for citizens to stay informed, track local developments, and actively participate in their communities.

I focused on simplifying complex, data-heavy information into something clear and actionable.
I structured the experience around how users naturally explore civic information—what’s happening, what it means, and how they can engage.
I also:
Defined a clear information architecture for navigating civic data and updates
Designed flows for interacting with public initiatives and submitting feedback
Ensured consistency across web, mobile, and admin platforms
Considered multiple user roles, including citizens and administrators managing the system
The Solution
I designed a platform that makes civic engagement more accessible by:
Presenting community updates and government activity in a simplified, digestible format
Enabling users to explore, interact with, and respond to civic initiatives
Creating structured flows for submitting and tracking civic interactions
Designing an admin system for managing content, user activity, and platform operations
Delivering a seamless experience across web and mobile
